Weng Meng Industries Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 27 Feb 1979 as a manufacturer of timber joinery products such as wooden cable drums, wooden pallets, office furniture and fittings. In 1989, Weng Meng diversified into producing steel cable drums to cater for heavy-duty cable applications and this has become one of the major products manufactured using the latest technologies.
In the 20 years since, Weng Meng has earned a solid reputation quality and reliability because of our dynamic vision and commitment to being the ideal partner to the cable and wire industry. Today the company has become Malaysia's largest manufacturer and supplier of cable drums to the power and telecommunication cable industries, manufacturing drums for all types of cables and steel wire ropes.
